America, or Trump?

Did you vote for a president who promised to drain the swamp? It seems the reality of it all is he has replaced the swamp with toxic waste.

When is it proper for a president to use smut talk and nasty innuendos to convey his distaste for what he disagrees with? Could it be because he is so full of venom, hate and disregard for anyone that has a different point of view than he? This man has insulted a war hero, minorities, women and a handicapped journalist. He also reportedly called the White House a dump, so why would he care if a professional athlete declined an invitation to the White House? After all, it is his right as an American citizen to accept or decline.

What were our electoral voters thinking when they elected a man not short in stature but who surely has a Napoleon complex? I believe he would gladly put us in a war with an egotistical leader like himself. Maybe it’s Trump’s goal to remain in office if we go war with a foreign nation. We would not be able to impeach nor elect a new president.

Where is our diplomacy? Do all American children recite the pledge of allegiance daily at school? The answer is no. Now ask yourself why. Was this an un-American decision? I think not. We as Americans have the right to speak up and protest peacefully. That is our First Amendment right. Let’s face it, Trump was more upset about somebody not standing at a game than he was with the neo-Nazi rally fiasco. If he was so “America first,” why are his products and his daughter’s merchandise made somewhere else?
