BOONEVILLE 21, DARDANELLE 20

Booneville quarterbac­k Brandon Ulmer was still limited by a knee injury he suffered two weeks ago Friday night. He still threw for 138 yards and two touchdowns in a 4A-4 Conference win over visiting Dardanelle and gave Booneville sole possession of first place in the league standings.

Both of Ulmer’s touchdown passes gave the Bearcats (7-1, 5-0) the lead. The first covered 27 yards to Ethan Dobbs to make it 14-10 with 7:19 left in the first half. The second covered 62 yards to Mike Hesson on the first play of the final quarter and made it 21-20.

Dardanelle (6-2, 4-1) got rushing touchdowns from Elyas Carter from 13 and 17 yards out and a pair of Temo Martinez field goals and led 20-14 at the half.

After Carter’s first touchdown, Dobbs returned the kickoff 96 yards for a Bearcat touchdown.

GRAVETTE 62, HUNTSVILLE 28

Tajae White ran for 4 touchdowns and passed for another to lead Gravette to a big win in 4A-1 Conference action.

The Lions (4-4, 3-2) also got another big game from running back Austin O’Brien who had more than 200 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win. Brandon Ballard caught the touchdown pass from White.

Huntsville quarterbac­k Sean McCone had three touchdown passes and the Eagles had a fumble return for a touchdown.

PEA RIDGE 35, BERRYVILLE 0

The No. 1 Blackhawks rolled to a mercy-rule road win in 4A-1 action.

Jordan Witcher caught a pair of touchdown passes from Jakota Sainsbury, and Hayden Holtgrewe added a 95-yard punt return for a score.

The Blackhawks (8-0, 5-0) also got a both game from Drew Winn, who rushed for 160 yards on 14 carries and scored a touchdown.

Pea Ridge will host Huntsville next week.

BRYANT 17, CABOT 10

CABOT — Top-ranked Bryant fell on a Cabot fumble with 44 seconds left to take a victory over Cabot on Friday night.

The victory left the Hornets (8-0, 5-0 7A-Central) set for a showdown against at home against No. 2 North Little Rock next Friday. The Charging Wildcats (80, 5-0) took a 49-23 victory over Fort Smith Northside on Friday.

Bryant backup quarterbac­k Jake Meaders kept the Hornets offense moving, completing 19 of 30 passes for 244 yards and a touchdown. Starter Ren Hefley, out with a brokem collarbone, should be back for the playoffs.

CONWAY 45, LITTLE ROCK CENTRAL 3

CONWAY — Michael George rushed for two touchdowns and caught a third in Conway’s (6-2, 4-1 7A-Central) rout of Little Rock Central (2-6, 1-4). George led the Wampus Cats’ rushing game with 154 yards on 22 carries. Brennan Clark added a touchdown on his way to moving 102 yards on nine carries. Cary McClain rushed for another touchdown and Jordan Wicks kicked a Conway field goal.

GREENBRIER 48, CLARKSVILL­E 27

GREENBRIER — Quarterbac­k Andrew Johnson threw for 279 yards and four touchdowns to lead Greenbrier (5-3, 4-1 5A-West) to a win against Clarksvill­e (1-7, 0-5). Johnson completed 16 of his 19 pass attempts.

Reese Hammontree caught four passes for 117 yards and a touchdown. Spencer Sutterfiel­d led Greenbrier’s rushing attack with 176 yards and two touchdowns.

JUNCTION CITY 36, SMACKOVER 14

JUNCTION CITY — Junction City (8-0, 5-0 6-3A) didn’t score until the second half, but that didn’t matter against the Buckaroos (5-3, 4-1), who didn’t score after the first half.

No. 1 Junction City, trailing at halftime, stayed undefeated after breaking a tie in the fourth qaurter.

Smackover scored the first half’s only points in the second quarter on an intercepti­on return and a 10-yard pass, going up 14-0 at halftime.

Junction City rallied in the second quarter, scoring two touchdowns on 3-yard and 4-yard runs by senior Jalen Davis, evening the game at 14-14 going into the fourth quarter.

Senior Hishmma Taylor ran 4 yards for a touchdown on the first scoring drive of the fourth quarter, giving Junction City all the points it would need. Davis scored his third touchdown on a 2-yard run, and Taylor scored again on a 7-yard run.

Davis had 152 yards and 3 touchdowns on 22 carries. Taylor had 2 touchdowns and 140 yards on 36 carries.

HECTOR 41, ENGLAND 8

HECTOR — Jadon Graham rushed for 140 yards and three touchdowns and added an intercepti­on on defense as Hector (6-2, 4-1 5-2A) topped England (3-5, 2-3).

Brenden Landrum led the team with 218 yards rushing and a touchdown.

MORRILTON 38, VILONIA 6

VILONIA — Jacolby Criswell ran for two scores and threw for a third to help put Morrilton (5-3, 3-2 5A-West) up 35-0 at halftime in a victory over Vilonia (0-8, 0-5).

Criswell finished with 58 yards on 6 carries and was 8-of-11 passing for 173 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown throw to Mason Adams.

A short run from Adams and a 9-yard burst from Xaviar Clemons gave the Devil Dogs two more touchdowns before the half.

Jesus Arias kicked a 22-yard field goal in the third quarter for Morrilton’s last score.

CLINTON 60, MARSHALL 8

CLINTON — Sophomore Ethen Drake returned the opening kickoff 75 yards for a Clinton (8-0, 5-0 1-3A) touchdown, and the rout was on.

Nine players scored touchdowns for the Clinton as the Yellow Jackets cruised past Marshall (0-8, 0-5).

Clinton scored their second touchdown on a 20-yard run by senior Charlie Sowell then got scores on a 73-yard run by sophomore John Riley Hinchey, a 1-yard pass from sophomore Weston Amon to sophomore Austin Drake and a 50-yard run by Ethen Drake.
