Wednesday’s Games Farmington 10, Harrison 0

McKenzi Bogan (7-1) threw a two-hit shutout to lead the Lady Cardinals past Harrison.

Alyssa Reed had a two-run home run while Madison Parrish contributed two doubles and Carley Antwine a triple for Farmington (10-3, 4-1). Charleston 9, Mansfield 0

Lacey McKenzie threw a no-hitter, and Charleston scored five times in the third inning en route to a 4A/3A District 5 victory over Mansfield.

McKenzie struck out 14 batters and walked one in a 99-pitch performance. Mansfield’s only other baserunner came when Brooklyn Carlton reached on an error.

Baylee King had two hits, including a three-run home run in the seventh, to lead Charleston (4-8). Tuesday’s Game Gentry 6-17, Greenland 0-2

The Lady Pioneers swept a doubleheader on Tuesday, outscoring Greenland 23-2.

In the opener, Raegan Jude allowed just five hits and struck out eight.

Meledy Owens and Carissa Goosens had two hits each.

The Lady Pioneers rolled to a 17-2 win in the second game as Owens and Mandy Barber each had two hits and Gracie Potts drove in three runs.

PREP BASEBALL

Rogers High 7, Fayetteville 4

Sophomore Hayden Seldomridge hit a three-run double in the bottom of the top of the sixth inning to snap a 4-4 tie and lift the Mounties to a key 7A-West Conference win Wednesday.

Rogers (12-4, 5-1 7A-West) trailed 4-2, but tied the game with two in the fifth on an RBI-double by Seldomridge and a run-scoring single by Matthew Watson. Seldomridge, who finished 2-for-4 with four RBIs, then delivered the deciding blow in the sixth.

Mason Griffin picked up the win by tossing three scoreless innings of relief. He allowed two hits, struck out five and did not walk a batter.

Jackson Down went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs, while Luke Davenport added two hits for Fayetteville (10-7-1, 3-3). Bentonville West 12, Springdale High 7

Jason Gloeckler belted a pair of two-run doubles as West completed a sweep of Springdale with a 7A-West Conference victory Wednesday at Tyson Park.

Gloeckler’s first double capped a ninerun outburst in the third inning that gave the Wolverines (11-6, 2-4) the lead for good after Springdale (9-9, 2-4) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first. His other double came in the seventh after an RBI groundout by Roger Alexander and gave West a 12-4 cushion.

Gloeckler had three of West’s eight hits, while Joey Aden had three hits and scored three times and Will Jarrett had a two-run double. Kender Carroll relieved Wolverines starter Jaron Jenkins with one out in the first and picked up the win, allowing just one run before Springdale scored three in the bottom of the seventh.

Springdale starter Will Mueller allowed six runs over two-plus innings and took the loss, although just one of those runs were earned. Christopher Harvey had two of the Bulldogs’ nine hits and drove in three runs.

Lavaca 6, Hackett 0

Martin Lozano tossed a four-hitter, struck out 12 and drove in three runs to lead the Golden Arrows to the win Wednesday.

Lozano went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double, along with throwing a complete game for Lavaca (8-3). Tripp Lile added an RBI triple, while Jimmy Hall also drove in a run.

Lozano allowed only four singles and walked two, improving to 6-1. Booneville 10, Paris 2

Brandon Ulmer slugged a pair of home runs and Carson Ray added a grand slam as Booneville rolled past Paris in 4A/3A District 5 action in Booneville.

Ray put the Bearcats (7-5-1) on the scoreboard with an RBI single in the first, then hit his grand slam in the second. Ulmer hit a solo home run in the fourth, then added a three-run blast in the fifth.

Michael Hesson pitched five innings and allowed two runs on two hits while striking out eight, then Ray pitched two hitless innings in relief. Toby Inman suffered the loss, allowing six runs on five hits over four innings, and had an RBI single for Paris.

FS Northside 2, North Little Rock 1

Khaden Washington scattered five hits over 6.2 innings to lead the Grizzlies to a 7A-Central road win Tuesday.

Washington struck out seven and walked three to earn the win.

Jackson Scriver was 2-for-4 with a triple and 1 RBI for Northside. Nate Hamilton was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

John Henry Maloch was 2-for-3 for North Little Rock.
