LITTLE ROCK — Jaime Brook Mitchell, age 42 of Little Rock, Ark., passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018. She was born in Little Rock on June 18, 1975. Jaime graduated high school in 1993, earned her undergraduate degree from Hendrix College in 1997 before graduating with her master’s degree in Special Education from UALR. Jaime taught special education in the Little Rock school district, was an avid animal lover fostering and adopting Mastiffs and had a kind and loving heart.
She is survived by her father, John T. Mitchell of Cane Hill, Ark.; mother, Debbie K. Gudith (Roger) of Roland, Ark.; one brother, Tate Mitchell of Cane Hill, Ark.; one uncle, Bruce Kastel (Colleen) of Little Rock, one cousin, Renee Allen (Jerry) of Mabelvalle, Ark. and many friends and other family members whom she cherished. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ed and Joanne Kastel and her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mildred Appleby Mitchell and one cousin, Candi Kastel.

FAYETTEVILLE — John Starkey, 88, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 in Fayetteville. He was born February 14, 1930 in Jacksonville, Ark., to Charles and Theodosia Corder Starkey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Lenny; a daughter, Cylinda; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.
John was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He was a 32nd degree mason; a member of the Sheriff’s Association; a bivocational minister; and he enjoyed doing missionary work.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Kreulen Starkey of the home; a son, David Starkey of Fayetteville; a daughter, Jean Irwin and husband, Jeff of Forsyth, Mo.; a stepson, John Carlon of Montana; two stepdaughters, Margaret Blistain and husband, George of Illinois and Maureen Holder of St. Petersburg, Fla.; several nieces; one nephew; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Michael Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the funeral home.

SEARCY — Robert Christ “Bob” Mosesso, age 86 of Searcy, died Saturday, May 12, 2018, in Roe, Arkansas. He was born August 9, 1931 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Christ Mosesso and Carrie Martella Mosesso. Bob retired from Matthews International and was a member of both St. James (Searcy) and St. Richards (Bald Knob) Catholic Churches. He loved gardening, fishing and spending time tinkering in his workshop. He was a great husband and father and will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
He was the beloved husband of Olga Mosesso for 60 years. He is also survived by two sons, Bobby Mosesso and wife Patricia of Lowell, David Mosesso and wife Terricia of Jonesboro; one daughter, Lynn Mosesso of Fayetteville; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Christ and Carrie Mosesso; two sisters, Lorriane Kountz, Rita Mae Mosesso; and one brother, Vincent Mosesso.
Visitation is Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with entombment to follow at White County Memorial Gardens.
