Three weeks ago I wouldn’t have predicted this Arkansas team could win a shootout, but there has been enough improvement with the offense to provide a little more confidence this week against Ole Miss. Rakeem Boyd should have a big day and get some help from Michael Woods and C. J. O’Grady. Defensively, the secondary has to make some plays against another good set of wide receivers after getting torched by the nation’s best set last week. Saturday night in the Rock. Arkansas’ RPO (Run/Pass Offense) getting better. Ole Miss’ self-proclaimed NWO (Nasty Wideouts) showing they are one of the best groups in the league. Arkansas’ defense was gashed by Alabama. Ole Miss has scored at least 70 points twice this season, but the Rebels don’t have near the same offensive line as the Crimson Tide, and Ole Miss has its own problems on defense. I expect a high-scoring game under the lights at War Memorial Stadium. An Arkansas team with growing confidence should find a way to break through in front of a big crowd. The Razorbacks played their best offensive game of the season last week against Alabama and appear to finally have found successful combinations. Alabama gashed Arkansas repeatedly on chunk plays, but is playing at a historic level offensively. Ole Miss is explosive, but it is not Bama. Going out on a limb here and saying Arkansas goes 4-0 over the next four weeks against Ole Miss, Tulsa, Vandy and Bye Week. Arkansas 41-38 in OT.
