2 p.m. on College Football
The passion! The pageantry! True, neither the Army Black Knights nor the Navy Midshipmen have fielded championshipcaliber teams in more than 50 years but that shouldn’t stop this annual clash, the 119th overall, at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field from being anything short of a spectacle. Certainly, the thousands of screaming fans in attendance will make things interesting in the stands, no matter what happens on the field.
7 p.m. on Freeform Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings: Holiday Magic
Married dancers and choreographers Allison Holker and Stephen “tWitch” Boss co-host this all-new installment of enchanting nuptial ceremonies at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Since those Disney geniuses rarely miss a marketing opportunity, this year’s special throws a spotlight on the company’s huge Christmas movie release, “Mary Poppins Returns.” Country music superstar Martina McBride also performs.
7 p.m. on Hallmark Channel Movie: Homegrown Christmas
After spending years successfully running her own company, shoe designer Maddie (Lori Loughlin) sells the business and accepts her mother’s (Gwyneth Walsh) invitation to come home for Christmas and reconnect with her longignored family. As Maddie begins to mend fences, another tempting business prospect lands in her lap.
7 p.m. on Lifetime Movie: Santa’s Boots
Holly (Megan Hilty) isn’t expecting anything unusual when she makes her annual Christmas trip back to her hometown, where she’s totally blindsided by the news that the family business, a department store, is teetering on the brink of foreclosure in this new holiday gender-switched spin on “Cinderella.” Pitching in as Santa’s helper, Holly takes an instant liking to Nick (Noah Mills), the store’s surprisingly young Santa. As Christmas looms, however, Nick abruptly disappears, leaving Holly to search for him with only one clue: a black boot he left behind.
8:31 p.m. on Frosty Returns
