Bentonville’s City Council met Tuesday and approved:
■ To hire BKD for auditing services for five years.
■ Changes to the 2019 pay plan.
■ Changes to the personnel policy manual.
■ Appoining Luke Wetzel to the Advertising and Promotions Commission and Cynthia Cochran to the Library Advisory Board.
■ Reappointing Brian Burke to the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport Authority Board.
■ Eight one-year blanket bids for material for the Electric, Water and Street departments.
■ Buying electric meters from Mueller for $415,248.
■ Buying small water meters from Mueller for $235,180 and large water meters from Core and Main for $159,189.
■ An agreement with Holophone Ornamental Lighting for the city’s lighting.
■ Buying land at 403 S.W. 24th St. for $500,000 for the Public Works building.
■ Awarding a $19,990 contract to Greenlayer for the Run Bentonville Half Marathon hoodies and Jet Custom Screen Printing’s $21,910 bid for the event’s shirts.
■ Reappointing Mike Power and Steven George and appointing Justin Hundley and Dan Grover to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. ■ A Parks and Recreation Department contract with five individuals to offer fitness services and swimming instruction.
■ A $42,851 change order with the Arkansas Department of Transportation for boring needed for traffic signal modifications and installing the lighting along Southeast Eighth Street.
