The post-season “Champions” episodes of this hit reality competition series have proved to be a lively treat, giving viewers a chance to see outstanding performers from various international franchises of this show, not to mention Britain’s Got
Talent superstars Paul Potts and Susan Boyle, who became viral Internet sensations. The winner and ultimate champion is crowned in tonight’s new “The Champions Results Finale,” before judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. First up, though, expect more appearances from special acts and fan favorites.
7 p.m. on Hallmark Channel 2019 American Rescue Dog Show
In part two of this two-night competition, the 10 canine semi-finalists that have prevailed in such categories as Best in Underbite, Best in Senior and Best in Short ’n’ Sweet compete in a final round to discern which of them deserves the crown as overall Best in Rescue. Guest judges include pet rescue advocates Bill Berloni, Debbie Gibson, Brandon McMillan, Mike Rowe and Lisa Vanderpump. Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell are the hosts.
7:30 p.m. on Man With a Plan
When an angry Adam (Matt LeBlanc) sees a bully shove Emme (Hala Finley), he instinctively urges Teddy (Matthew McCann) to retaliate with some oldschool retribution and step up to defend his kid sister in the new episode “Put Him on the Ground.” Not surprisingly, mom Andi (Liza Snyder) is dismayed by the incident. Elsewhere, Adam and Don (Kevin Nealon) urge Joe (Stacy Keach) to hire a nurse to help out after his coming knee surgery.
8 p.m. on TNT I Am the Night
Jay (Chris Pine) starts believing that cracks are forming in the Hodel case after he gets a late-night phone call from Corinna (Connie Nielsen) in the new episode “Matador.” Moreover, Jay’s instincts are telling him to look for links between the Bloody Romeo case and the infamous and still-unsolved Black Dahlia murders. Meanwhile, Fauna (India Eisley) feels she is tantalizingly close to finding her mother, Tamar, and hopes an invitation to a “happening” may lead to fresh information.
9 p.m. on Manifest
When Griffin (guest star Marc Menchaca) plots to take the callings public, Ben and Michaela (Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh) recognize that such a move would put the safety of the passengers in grave jeopardy in the Season 1 finale, “Estimated Time of Departure.” Elsewhere, as simmering tensions between Jared and Zeke (J.R. Ramirez, guest star Matt Long) threaten to boil over, Ben, Grace and Olive (Athena Karkanis, Luna Blaise) make a discovery that is nothing short of devastating. Jack Messina also stars.
