School election voting begins today

Northwest Arkansas has nine races for board seats in eight school districts. Voting centers will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. today.

■ Dwight Gonzales is challenging Tim Hudson in Fayetteville Zone 5.

■ Aaron Cash is going against Amy Horn in Rogers Zone 4.

■ Travis Jackson and Bobby Reed are competing in Siloam Springs Zone 5.

■ Mindy Cawthon is challenging John Dye for Position 4 in Pea Ridge.

■ Matt Hargis, Harley Hunt and Brian Walker are running for Position 3 in Prairie Grove.

■ Bryan Delozier and Donnie Warren are competing for Position 2 in Elkins.

■ Duchess Allen and Amanda Harderson are vying for Position 2 in West Fork.

■ Five candidates are seeking two seats in Gentry. Coye Cripps faces Melissa Holland and Larry Scribner for Position 6. Gary Dunlap faces Michael Battenfield in Zone 1.
