Collection features Saar prints
“High Cotton,” edition 1/8, 2017, is among works on show in “Mirror, Mirror: The Prints of Alison Saar,” hanging through Oct. 6 in the Joy Pratt Markham Gallery at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville. Borrowed from the collection of Jordan D. Schnitzer and the Schnitzer Family Foundation, “Mirror, Mirror” reflects the vast body of prints created by Alison Saar over the past 35 years. Addressing issues of race, gender and spirituality, her lithographs, etchings and woodblock prints are evocations of her sculptures, for which she is renowned. Information: (479) 443-5600.
