Democrats’ lies, hypocrisy reflect their desperation

The Democrat-Gazette’s Aug. 7 Voices Page had an opinion column written by economist Paul Krugman of The New York Times accusing Republicans and presumably everyone supporting President Trump as “prefer(ing) massacres” and being “enablers of terrorism”; a denigrating slant off of the Democrats falsely accusing President Donald Trump, his supporters and Republicans as bad, callous, cruel, violent, racist people. Not surprising that Krugman exhibits the Democrats’ leftist stupidity.

Mr. Krugman, because of the shooting survivors’ grief, respectful silence is appropriate. You and the Democrats should show some respect for the shooting victims instead of exploiting the survivors’ grief for your hateful political purposes.

Democrat protesters recently besieged Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s home. “Stab him in the heart. Break his neck.” Threats of violence against the Republican majority leader, who was at home recovering from a broken bone he suffered in a fall at his home. A demonstration described to illustrate how Democrats are totally opposed to violence, yet they threaten to assassinate the Senate majority leader.

Then there is Bass Trumbo’s speculations that President Trump would have done the opposite had he been president instead of historical past presidents since Lincoln, giving credit to Democrat President Lyndon Johnson for passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, when in reality had it not been for congressional Republicans counter-acting opposition by Democrats, the Civil Rights Act would never have become reality.

Democrats promise descendants of black slaves forced reparations, while out of the other side of their mouths they denounce white people, calling it “white privilege.” The country, Democrats say, is racist and evil, thinking they can intimidate voters on the right to change their votes. This is sinister, designed to get total control of the citizenry. A systematic plan of the Democrats to undermine the country, especially ICE, police and the American justice system. With no evidence at all, Democrats say ICE and police are racists.

It is disgusting having to sit, read, watch and listen to the Democrats, through the leftist press, broadcast news and social media slander President Trump and Republicans and denigrate true patriots.

Democrats want to drown out free speech of patriots with whom they disagree. Democrats demand total obedience of the people. They are using censorship, slander, libel and outright threats of violence designed to intimidate voters because they are so full of hate for President Trump, who beat them in 2016. Democrats accuse the president and Republicans of what they are obviously doing. Puhleeze, such hypocrisy!

Democrats are so desperate they openly resort to blatant lies to further divide the country by exploiting the recent “mass” shootings for political purposes. The Democrats’ use of identity politics of dividing people on the basis of blatant lies and false accusations is despicable and is what today’s Democrat Party is all about.
