FAYETTEVILLE — Cynthia Lynnett Daniels (Ross) of Fayetteville passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning of Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019, at age 62. She was born Sept. 6, 1956, to William and Margaret Ross (Brooner) in Winfield, Kan.

Cindi fought her fouryear battle with cancer in the same way she lived her life, with courage, dignity and grace. Cindi was a beautiful woman both inside and out, with a heart of gold. She was creative and vibrant and a loving, devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Cindi was the first of five children born to Margaret and the only sister to younger brothers, Chris, Lawrence, Tim, Bill and Wayne. Cindi had a deep commitment to and was very protective of her brothers which she always referred to as “the boys.”

Cindi was a hardworking mother who was extremely proud of her two daughters, Misty and Lauren, and would talk about them and their accomplishments any chance she would get.

Cindi loved adventure and traveling. She was fortunate to see much of the world. Two of her favorite places were Italy and Greece. She always encouraged others to travel as well, taking her brother to Hawaii and her niece to Paris and Greece and numerous trips with both her mother and daughters.

One of her greatest gifts was her hospitality. Cindi

loved all family gatherings but especially Christmas, and nothing brought her more enjoyment than hosting her entire family and friends for the holidays. Cindi was a giver, she loved to shop and to buy gifts for others and always wanted everyone to have a great time. Her meticulous tree decorations and gift wrapping appeared to come right from a Macy’s picture window.

Cindi certainly had a wanderlust soul and lived in many places, including Hawaii, New York, Nebraska, Kansas and Texas, but Northwest Arkansas was her love and home.

She was a successful businesswoman and entrepreneur who had a unique talent for sales, working in both fashion and radio. Cindi loved people and found satisfaction in helping others overcome the same difficulties she experienced in life.

Cindi was the favorite aunt to her nieces and nephews, perhaps because she was so much fun, who offered compassion and encouragement without judgment or reservation. She loved them each as her own.

Cindi was preceded in death by her brothers Vincent and Lawrence Ross, grandparents Harley and Adda Brooner and William and Aletha Ross.

Cindi is survived by her mother, Margaret Brooner; father William Ross; daughters Misty German (Todd) of New York, and Lauren Ledbetter (Clay) of Arkansas; brothers Chris McAllister of South Dakota, Tim McAllister of Hawaii, Bill McAllister (Peg) of Nebraska, and Wayne McAllister (Courtney) of Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews.
