CARROLL COUNTY

Eureka First United Methodist Church in Eureka Springs, 195 Huntsville Road, hosts The Nine Lessons, a nondenomin­ational Advent Peace Service. Presented by the Celebratio­n Choir, the performanc­e begins at 4 p.m. Dec. 8.

The Celebratio­n Choir is a music ministry whose membership welcomes singers from area church choirs, schools and the community.

Donations at the performanc­e will be accepted to benefit Jeremiah Recovery House of Green Forest.

First Presbyteri­an Church in Springdale, 100 S. Gutensohn Road, presents its Chancel Choir and Crandell Ringers Handbell Choir to lead worship through music on the first Sunday of Advent, Dec. 1, at 10:30 a.m.

The church will host “Blue Christmas” at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3. This is a special service of worship focused on Christmas remembranc­e and prayer for those experienci­ng grief and loss during the holidays.

A Christmas brunch will be hosted by the Presbyteri­an Women at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 7 in Fellowship Hall.
