CARROLL COUNTY
Eureka First United Methodist Church in Eureka Springs, 195 Huntsville Road, hosts The Nine Lessons, a nondenominational Advent Peace Service. Presented by the Celebration Choir, the performance begins at 4 p.m. Dec. 8.
The Celebration Choir is a music ministry whose membership welcomes singers from area church choirs, schools and the community.
Donations at the performance will be accepted to benefit Jeremiah Recovery House of Green Forest.

WASHINGTON COUNTY
First Presbyterian Church in Springdale, 100 S. Gutensohn Road, presents its Chancel Choir and Crandell Ringers Handbell Choir to lead worship through music on the first Sunday of Advent, Dec. 1, at 10:30 a.m.
The church will host “Blue Christmas” at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3. This is a special service of worship focused on Christmas remembrance and prayer for those experiencing grief and loss during the holidays.
A Christmas brunch will be hosted by the Presbyterian Women at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 7 in Fellowship Hall.

The Shepherd’s Food Pantry is collecting items for the Christmas dinner and would like donations of boxed mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, canned sweet potatoes, canned green beans, cream of mushroom soup, canned cranberry sauce, small red or green gelatin (sugar-free or regular), and yellow or white cake mix.
