Loading food bags
Randy Imbeau (right) of Springdale loads canned goods into a bag held by Donna Katzfey of Fayetteville on Sunday. Volunteers put together food packages for homebound seniors and their dogs and cats. The packages will be distributed to home-bound seniors through the Prairie Grove, Farmington and Elkins senior centers. More than 200 seniors will receive the packages, and the seniors with pets will get food for them as well. More than 15,000 pounds of food was donated for the event organized by the Chase Family Foundation. The bags were loaded at the Chase family home in Springdale.
