On kids having kids

-

Every day we see a child being born to teen parents. Some of these teens cannot spell sex. Most of the young boys that father a child are not ready to be a father. They forget their partying days are over once you become a parent. It also seems most of the teen parents think they can dump their kids on their parents and go out and continue partying. Once you have a child, you are an adult, and you should not put your kids in your parents’ house. Just remember sex is not a plaything.

My husband and I have been married 61 years. I never wanted kids with but one man, and I made up my mind at a very young age that my kids would have one father. I am the oldest of 13 kids. I saw what my mother went through trying to raise kids by herself. When a young girl gets pregnant, the young man should not run like a jackrabbit to the next girl; he needs to be taught to be a man and take care of his responsibility. My mother never went on welfare; she made all her kids work.

Young people, get a good education and take care of your kids. Remember, if you can’t spell sex, do not try it. JULIA RANDLE
