ROGERS — Sue F. Hudson,

91, of Rogers, Ark., went to see Jesus on July 21, 2020. She was a wonderful influence and example to so many and will be truly missed. She was born Ida Sue Feaster on Aug. 9, 1928, in Little Rock, Ark., to Charles McCants Feaster and Mary Sue Lea Feaster.

She grew up in Fordyce, Ark. While growing up in Fordyce and Princeton with her many aunts and uncles, she also made lifelong friends. She attended Arkansas College, now Lyons College, and graduated in 1949. While at college she met William D Hudson Jr., married in Fordyce and then moved to Helena, Ark., where she spent most of her life and raised two sons.

She was a Christian, a Sunday school teacher, and an elementary school teacher in Helena for 25 years. She spent her life teaching her children, grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren.

She loved studying the Bible and was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Rogers, Ark., and was a long-time member of the First Presbyteri­an Church of Helena, Ark.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, stepmother Mary Lou, her aunts that helped raise her and her spouse of 45 years.

Her survivors include her sons and daughters in love, Dr. William D Hudson III (Susan) of Kingsport, Tenn., and Charles F Hudson (Gini) of Rogers, Ark.; grandchild­ren Charles F Hudson Jr. (Lindsay), Kristina Rudolph (Toby), Kim Meyer (Dave), Karin Stewart (John), Aubryn Street (Drew), Krissa Hudson and Aleigha Hudson; 10 great grandchild­ren plus number 11 to be born in December.

A graveside service at Marvell Cemetery is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2020, at 10 a.m. A memorial service in Rogers, Ark., will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations sent to charity of your choice in the name of Sue F Hudson.
