BELLA VISTA — Terry Lee Franklin,

age 73, resided in Bella Vista, Ark., and passed away Aug. 15, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. Ark. He was born Dec. 1, 1946, in Minneapoli­s, Minn.

On July 4, 1985, he was married to Toni Elizabeth Franklin. He was raised in Viola, Ark., and later moved to Carlsbad, N.M., with his family to the Guadalupe Mountains before moving to Arkansas.

He attended the University of Arkansas and later earned his bachelors’ degree in organizati­onal management from John Brown University.

He was the finance director for Bentonvill­e for 15 years, the finance director for the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport for 20 years and was also a Desert Storm war veteran, served in our country in the Army National Guard for 20 years and retired as a staff sergeant in 2011.

He faithfully served his community through the Lions Club as the treasurer and was a member of the Bentonvill­e Chamber of Commerce for many years. He loved to travel, read, go camping, watch the Razorbacks, and spend time with his wife and family.

He never knew a stranger and was a true servant leader. Everything he did, he did with love and compassion for others above self. He loved the Lord and attended Cross Church Pinnacle Hills in Rogers, Ark.

He is survived in death by wife Toni Franklin; daughters Lindsey and Stephani Franklin; sons Brian and Stephen Franklin; grandchild­ren Gavin Franklin and Kristen Nettles; and identical twin brother Perry Franklin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Clifton, stepfather Raymond Clifton; brothers Richard Franklin and Larry Joe Clifton; infant sister Donella Franklin; and Othal Lee Franklin, his birth father.

Visitation was Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home. The funeral was held Friday, Aug. 21, 2020, graveside at the Bentonvill­e Cemetery.
