OMAHA, Neb. — Marsha Goebel Rolle from Rogers, Ark.,

-

but recently moved to Omaha, Neb., passed away Aug. 27, 2020, in Omaha after complications developed from her short battle with ovarian cancer. She was born June 2, 1953, the second child of Buck and Barbara Goebel.

She grew up in Rogers, Ark., graduating RHS in the Class of 1971. After graduation, she moved to Washington D.C., and worked on the staff of Senator McClellan. Shortly afterwards she married Mark Charles Rolle and together she gave birth to their only child, Elizabeth.

Marsha always had a strong work ethic, starting in her teens while working at Susie-Q. Marsha went back to school in her 40s to fulfill a lifelong dream of completing her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Henderson State University.

She not only loved her family but had a deep and lasting love of the Kansas City Chiefs. Every football season on Sunday, you could find her rooting hard for her team.

Marsha and Mark were moving to Omaha despite the fact Marsha had not liked the winter weather when she had lived in Northern Missouri. But the pull of her two grandchildren (grandson Fox and granddaughter Blake ) was stronger than her dislike of the winter weather. Sadly, the next stage of her life with the grandchildren was not to be.

Marsha will be deeply missed by her husband, Mark; daughter, Elizabeth, son-inlaw Bryce and family; her two brothers, Jim and Ross and families; the surviving cousins; and many friends that Marsha touched their lives.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 25, 2020, at All Saints’ Episcopal Church (2904 N.W. 3rd St. ) in Bentonville, followed by a reception at Tuti and Ross’ at 3105 N. 13th Rogers (Little Flock), Ark.
