BELLA VISTA — Connie S. (De Haan) Danielson,

85, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Dec. 5, 2020. Mrs. Danielson was born Oct. 1, 1935, in Sioux Center, Iowa. She was the daughter of Dr. Frank James De Haan and Mary Harriet Shipman De Haan.

Connie graduated from high school in Fairfield, Iowa, and then graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s in education. She attended the University of Washington and received a master’s in library science. Mrs. Danielson was an educator for 25 years in Washington and Iowa.

She married Charles E. Danielson in Bellevue, Wash., on Oct. 1, 1983. Mrs. Danielson and her husband retired in 1995 and moved from Iowa to Bella Vista. Mrs. Danielson was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista and a member of the Naomi Circle. She was a member of the PEO Chapter/ CX, Quest Chapter/Butterfield Trails and Village Art Club, where she was an exhibitor at Wishing Spring Gallery.

She loved to read, paint, travel, and play cards with her husband and friends. Connie’s faith in God was strong and was the most important part of her life. Connie’s soul was saved by her faith in Jesus and is now resting and rejoicing in heaven. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She genuinely loved life and lived each day with joy and resiliency.

She was preceded in death by husband Charles Danielson, her parents, sister Judith Ann De Haan and her “sister-cousin” Sallie Jo Shipman.

Survivors include daughter Lisa Fry; son William Fry III; grandchild Haylee Fry, all of Chelan, Wash.
