ROGERS — Jacqueline Sue Clupny,
67, loving wife, mother, grandmother, Gigi, sister, and friend passed on Dec. 11, 2020, in Rogers, Ark. Jacqueline was born Oct. 9, 1953, in Wichita, Kan., to James and Joan Scott.
Jacque married the love of her life, Ronald Leroy Clupny in August 1972. In their 48 years of marriage, they raised four children and were blessed with 12 loving grandchildren. Jacque practiced banking in the Rogers area for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Joan Scott of Wichita, Kan., and Edward Clupny and Ida Mae Clupny of Wichita, Kan.
Jacque is survived by husband Ronald Clupny of Rogers, Ark.; son Nicholas (Crystal) Clupny of Wichita, Kan.; daughter Briana (David) Harris of Rogers, Ark.; son Jeffery (Brittney) Clupny of Bentonville, Ark., and Shelley (Michael) Lisenbee of Rogers, Ark.; mother-in-law Bettina Clupny of Wichita, Kan.; sister Jan (John) White of Wichita, Kan.; and brother James ( Cheryl) Scott of Wichita, Kan. Grandma Jacque, or GiGi, is also survived by grandchildren Caleb, Carter, Caitlyn and Camryn Clupny of Wichita, Kan., Tinley, Cadyn and Tate Harris of Rogers, Ark., Jackson, Brooklyn and Jonah Clupny of Bentonville, Ark., and Maxwell and Sadie Lisenbee of Rogers, Ark., as well as several nieces and nephews she loved.
Jacque had a charismatic way about her, she believed in God’s work and prayed big for everyone she met. She focused her life teaching her children and grandchildren the meaning of love and what it meant to create the foundation necessary to live life with the kindness of heart and the compassion needed to make the world a better place for most. She is known for her infectious smile and compassionate spirit, never leaving a room without meeting a new friend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to JDRF – Type 1 Diabetes Research and Advocacy.
There will be a celebration of Jacque’s life on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, at 10 a.m. and will be at Jacque’s home church, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The service will be open to family and close friends. There will be a graveside service in Wichita, Kan. at a later date.
The family wants to especially thank the staff at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark. for the care they gave Jacque in her times of need.
