FAYETTEVILLE — Kevin Hoyt of Fayetteville, Ark.,

-

passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born in Rogers, Ark., on Nov. 17, 1962, to Jerry and Dorothy Hoyt.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father Jerry and grandparents Kenneth and Della Hoyt and Harley and Hazel Welker. Kevin is survived by his mother, Dorothy Hoyt; brother Ken Hoyt and wife Teresa; sister Karla Miller and husband Tom; and many special nieces and nephews. Kevin is also survived by the wonderful staff at Life Styles where he lived for almost 30 years. A special thank you to Debbie Giles, Jim Thomas, Mike Mathis, and Cathy Houser, who all took such good care of Kevin.

Kevin attended Sunshine School in Vaughn, Ark. He then worked at the Adult Development Center in Rogers before moving to Life Styles in 1992. His move to Life Styles allowed Kevin to live life to the fullest and experience so many amazing things. He formed lifelong friendships, took classes, held jobs, traveled (all the way to Hawaii!) and lived life independently. None of that would have been possible without the wonderful staff at Life Styles.

Kevin enjoyed the watching the Razorbacks, “The Price is Right” – every morning at 10 a.m. sharp, and anything Scooby-Doo related, going to flea markets, and spending time with his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Kevin’s name to Life Styles Inc., P.O. Box 1114, Fayetteville, Ark., 72703. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Kevin is in the care of Rollins Funeral Home, Rogers, Ark. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.rollinsfuneral.com .
