FAYETTEVIL­LE — Ivalene Bradley Carson,

94, of Fayettevil­le, Ark., died Friday, April 9, 2021, at Edgewood Health and Rehab Center in Springdale. She was born on June 26, 1926, in Black Oak, Ark., to William “Shird” Bradley and Myrtle Osburn Bradley.

During WWII, Ivalene moved to Fayettevil­le to work in the garment industry, where she would go on to meet and marry her husband, F.K. “Bill” Carson and raise two daughters. She and Bill made a wonderful home on Olive Street, where she would live for almost 67 years. She was a charter member of the North Street Church of Christ, now known as Mt. Comfort Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and brothers, Ray, Ralph, Carl, Arvin, and Marvin Bradley; and sister, Ora Reed.

She is survived by daughter, Rebecca Carson of Fayettevil­le; daughter, Sondra Carson Jones and son-in-law Stuart Jones of Fayettevil­le; granddaugh­ter, Brynn Jones Rastelli and her husband, Ettore Rastelli of Jersey City, N.J.; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service is planned on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 2 p.m. in the Black Oak Cemetery. A viewing at the Moore’s Chapel Funeral Home will be available on Monday, April 12, 2021, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. The family has requested that those attending either event wear masks.
