ROGERS — Clyse Craig,

-

age 81, passed away peace fully in his sleep, Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021. He was born June 9, 1940, in Bakersfield, Calif., and then adopted by Dana and Virginia Craig in Joplin, Mo. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Clyse worked for the Rogers Public School System for over 30 years. The majority of his career was spent as a school bus driver and later an attendant on the special needs bus route. He was a very fun- loving, eccentric, caring, selfless person and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. He never hesitated to visit people in the hospitals and nursing homes, sending get well cards and taking food to anyone that needed it. He enjoyed spending time outside, cutting grass, growing his beloved tomatoes or spending a moment of solitude fishing on Beaver Lake. Above all, he loved his family and creating memories with the people he loved most. To know him was to love him.

Clyse is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Judy Craig; children, Drey (Taylor) Craig of Rogers, Jeffrey (Jessica) Sainsbury of Centerton, and Sandra Anderson of Rogers; brother, Carl (Karen) Craig of Purcell, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, Brittany, Justine, Marc, Alyssa, Brianna, Magenta, Shaheid, Jordan, Hunter, Adrian and Xander; and six great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home of Rogers.
