Many of Branson’s most popular performing families create special Christmas shows. They include:

The Blackwoods — R.W. and Donna Blackwood and their descendant­s carry on the legacy started by the Grammy-winning Blackwood Brothers, in The Blackwoods Christmas Show, a harmony-filled holiday celebratio­n full of gospel, country and patriotic songs. (Americana Theatre)

The Brett family — A Brett Family Christmas crafts an experience embodying all the warmth and joy of the holidays. They also pay tribute to those who serve with their “I am a Veteran” Honor Tree in the lobby. (Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater)

Clay Cooper and family — This Wylie, Texas, native leads a troupe of 24, including sons Colt and Caden and wife Tina, in his Clay Cooper Ozark Mountain Christmas Celebratio­n, featuring rock, country rock, patriotic tunes and other music, plus comedy. (Clay Cooper Theatre)

Doug Gabriel and family — The Doug Gabriel Christmas Show features wife Cheryl as emcee, plus offspring Jordan, Jasmine and Josh delivering a spectrum of holiday hits and history, plus

The Duttons — Branson’s own top-10 “America’s Got

Talent” stars and creators of two popular PBS Christmas specials bring it on with The Duttons’ Christmas Show, filled with Celtic fiddles, orchestral versions of Christmas classics, dancing snowmen and toys that come alive. (Dutton Family Theater)

The Gatlin Brothers — The popular trio of Larry, Steve and Rudy Gatlin returns to Branson on Nov. 20 for one special night billed as The Gatlin Brothers Country Christmas. (The Mansion Theatre for the Performing Arts)

The Hamners — Illusionis­ts Dave and Denise Hamner, who helm Hamners Unbelievab­le, turn it all up a notch with their Hamners’ Unbelievab­le Family Variety Christmas Show. (Hamners’ Variety Theater)

The Haygoods —

A family of five brothers and one sister who play 20 instrument­s between them, mix rock, country and comedy along with dazzling special effects in their Haygoods Christmas Show. (Clay Cooper Theater)

The Hughes Brothers — Four siblings and their extended families lead 50 performers — and Santa Claus — perform in a harmony-filled production that has received the Best Christmas Show award for 13 consecutiv­e years. (Hughes Brothers Theatre)

The Johnson family — As the Johnson Strings, this talented family blends their eight voices in harmony and humor while playing a variety of unusual

The Knudsen brothers — These brothers perform as SIX, for the number of siblings blending their voices together. Unbelievab­ly, they have four other brothers who aren’t even in the band. (Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater)

The Petersens — This award-winning, internatio­nally recognized family band digs straight to the bluegrass and gospel roots of American music, playing all-acoustic shows that honor tradition with standards and originals. (IMAX Entertainm­ent Complex Little Opry Theatre)

The Presleys — One of Branson’s first performing families, the Presleys have been mixing country, gospel and bluegrass tunes with folksy humor for over 50 years. (Presleys’ Country Jubilee)

Timothy and Cassandré

Haygood — The Voice of an Angel features Cassandré Haygood’s pristine vocals, accompanie­d by multi-instrument­alist Timothy, backed by an array of soloists and dancers along with the Stardust Band, in a limited holiday run. (Hughes Brothers Family Theater)
