BENTONVILLE — Tommy N. Rogers,
69, of Bentonville, Ark., passed away on November 6th, 2021 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born October 10th, 1952, in Noel, Mo., the youngest of five children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Roy and Roxie Rogers, (brother) Roy Rogers Jr., and (sister) Nancy Coberley.
Tommy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to so many. He was full of love, humor, and generosity. In retirement, he enjoyed auctions and owned a local flea market where he loved to laugh and share uplifting stories with anyone who walked through the door. He was the king of one-liners, an avid birdwatcher, and a talented singer, songwriter, and guitar player. He was so proud of his family and loved being “Papaw” to his grandchildren. His family and friends will miss his big personality and eternal optimism. The most important legacy he leaves behind is his strong faith in Jesus Christ and the promise of eternal life in Heaven.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Belinda Jester Rogers of the home; their children, Luke and Kerri of Rogers, Jordan and Holly of Rogers, Chandler and Kaleb of Fayetteville, and Madison of Roland, Okla.; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Dick (Wanda) Rogers and Bill (Beverly) Rogers.
