UALR-Alabama canceled

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock women’s team announced Monday afternoon that its matchup with Alabama scheduled for Thursday at the Jack Stephens Center in Little Rock has been canceled. According to a news release from the school, several Trojans are battling the flu and UALR did not expect to be able to field a roster to take on the Crimson Tide.

The Trojans lost 73-39 at the University of Arkansas on Sunday afternoon, shooting 15 of 57 (26.3%) from the field with no player reaching double figures.

UALR is slated for two games next week in New Orleans at the Tulane Classic — the Trojans will play Bradley on Dec. 20 and either Tulane or Texas Southern on Dec. 21. They’ll open Sun Belt Conference play Dec. 30 at Georgia Southern.
