ROGERS — passed away on March 18, 2022. He was born on June 5, 1955, in Fowler, Kansas, to the late Clarence and Betty (Marrs) Leis.

Gary graduated from Rogers High School and the University of Arkansas. Gary was an assistant manager with Walmart, store manager for Dillard’s and then his own men’s clothing store. He has had his own real estate appraisal company since 1987. Gary was an avid Razorback fan and enjoyed tailgating at all home games. Gary always decorated his home for any and all holidays, making sure to coordinate decoration­s for the church, too. Gary loved to travel with Pedro in the U.S. and Mexico, delighting in good food and hospitalit­y. His loved ones will always remember him for his talent in gardening, joyfulness, always seeing the brighter side of life. He is survived by his husband, Pedro Alegria Perez of Rogers; siblings, Dr. Dan Leis (Katy) of Rogers, Jim Leis (Janie) of Rogers, Theresa Brauburger (Ted) of Bella Vista, Greg Leis of Rogers; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 25, 2022, from 4 until 6 p.m., at Rollins Funeral Home, Rogers. A funeral service will be on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 11 a.m., in All Saints’ Episcopal Church/ Iglesia Episcopal de Todos los Santos in Bentonvill­e, followed by a reception.
