85, of Rogers passed away July 1, 2022, at a local care center. She was born July 24, 1936, in Tulsa, Okla., to Cecil Ray Woodson and Mary Weldon Woodson. Beverly was a very talented woman, and owned a ceramics shop in Gentry called Bev’s Ceramics for a long time before moving to Kansas City, Mo., and working as an interior decorator for many years.

Between living in Kansas City and moving back to Arkansas, Beverly lived for several years in the Joplin area of Missouri. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star of Missouri, Chapter 93, Carthage, Mo.

Beverly was an artist at heart. Along with ceramics and design, she also enjoyed painting and making things beautiful. She loved cooking and entertaini­ng, and could set a pretty table for her guests. Beverly was very adventurou­s, delighting in taking her grandkids on roller coasters. Her grandkids also remember her for her talent in putting together a heck of an Easter basket.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Brad Barrett and Mary Beth Clark; one sister, Judy Ferrell; and two grandchild­ren, Ace Hawkins and Rachel Hawkins.

Survivors include two children, Bonnie Barrett Henry (John) of Rogers, and Mike Barrett of Gentry; six grandchild­ren, Ashley Henry Kennedy (Adrian) of Rogers, Sean Henry (Rebekah) of Rogers, Jennifer Barrett of Oklahoma, Steven Barrett of Gentry, Shelby Hawkins of Oklahoma, and Jacob Tatman of Louisiana; and many great-grandchild­ren.
