ROGERS — Jasper Oliver Hoggard (J.O.)

went to be with the Lord at age 88 in Rogers, Ark., on November 14, 2022. He was born July 18th, 1934, to the late Orville and Zana Hoggard.

J.O. is preceded in death by his parents, Zana and Orville Hoggard; two brothers, Billy Hoggard and Leon Hoggard; and one sister, Nina Ellis

J.O. is survived by his loving wife, Julie Hoggard; one brother, LD Hoggard; his children, Kent Hoggard, JoLynda (Eric) Casey, Rich (Stacey) McDonough, Mike (Kristyn) McDonough, and Jill (David) Lewis; 16 grandchild­ren; and 14 great-grandchild­ren.

J.O. was a Korean War veteran in the United States Army, and then got a bachelor’s degree in Agricultur­e Business at the University of Arkansas. He spent much of his career in sales at Allstate and Hoggard Reality before retiring.

J.O. loved the time with his family and playing dominoes with his friends. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Arkansas Razorbacks. J.O. was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho while in college, these years are when he gained the love for Razorback football. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed mornings watching Andy Womack and Bonanza.

A visitation with military honors will be held Friday, November 18, 2022. from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home of Rogers. Please use this time to remember J.O. and his love for everyone. He was a man of Jesus and is now resting with the Lord.
