SPRING DALE— Cathrine “Deann” Skelton,

-

45, of Springdale passed away on November 20, 2022 at Northwest Medical Center in Spring dale. She was born on March 3, 1977 in Springdale to Billy Charles and Louise Casto Nelson.

Deann wasn’t only a dedicated mother to her three children, she was also a devoted paraprofessional to special needs children at Knapp Elementary for the last two years. Deann’s work ethic shined as she found her passion driving a school bus for Springdale for 20 years. When she wasn’t keeping the kids in line, she served and kept up with the Neal’s Cafe Coffee Crew and their city politics for over 20 years.

Deann loved watching her children compete in softball, cheerleading, football and was always there with support and her voice saying “rub some dirt on it.” Even though Deann grew up in the city, she adapted to the cattle farm life with constant direction from the Skelton men.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her maternal grandparents, Felix and Ruby Casto and paternal grandparents, Loyd and Cathrine Nelson.

Survivors include her husband, Louie Skelton of the home; three children, Caitlynn Bradley, Ashley Bradley and Harold Bradley; two step-children, Tucker Skelton and Sabra Skelton; two brothers, Steve Nelson and David Nelson; one sister, Patti Meisenbacher.
