Learn about Murray for Bella Vista mayor

I received an email this week whose senders thought the only way to support their candidate was to attack the other.

Randy Murray has knocked on about every door in Bella Vista. He and his wife have committed $20,000 of their own money for him to run for mayor. He has committed to putting his business on hold to be our mayor. He is young, energetic, open to new things and most certainly interested in making Bella Vista an even greater place to live and work. The attacks said his friends of many years were suspicious because they donated money to his campaign. Wouldn’t most of us do that if we believed our friend would be a great leader in office?

He wants to streamline the permit process. He wants to make it quicker and easier for a business to open and start work. Is it any surprise that business owners, residents, builders, real estate agents and anyone else interested in the future of Bella Vista supports him? It’s not “dark money” supporting him; all monies are above board and donors are available to the public.

Someone recently stated he is too young and busy to be mayor, with a business, children, etc. I suggest women have done that for many years.

I believe his youth and energy and his openness to new, different and more effective ways to accomplish our city’s goals is just what we need. Don’t believe the slander. Check for yourself why he received so many votes and has so much support.
