“What is heat load calculation and why should it be important to me when purchasing a furnace?” Answer sponsored by:

Answer:

Heat load calculation is a sophisticated mathematical method used to determine precisely how much heat is needed to keep your home at the temperature you prefer. To ensure that your furnace is accurately and efficiently warming your home, it is important that your unit is the correct size.

If your furnace is old or you’re experiencing higher energy bills, frequent and/or costly repairs, uneven heating in your home, or if your unit is breaking down a lot, it may be time to replace it. We can help you weigh the benefits of replacement vs. repair, and while we know it is not an easy decision, we can help make it easier.

When it does come time to replace your old furnace, our professional HVAC contractors will complete a heat load calculation on your home to ensure that you are purchasing the correct size unit.
