FAYETTEVIL­LE — Surrounded by his loving family Jason William Papageorge,

age 32, of Fayettevil­le, Ark., passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e. He was born December 19, 1990, in Bowling Green, Ky., the son of Dean W. and Betsy Papageorge. After graduating from Rogers High School in 2009 Jason attended the University of Georgia completing a business degree in finance from the Terry College of Business graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2013. Jason then began a career in the poultry industry attaining status as a Senior Sales Specialist. He developed a passion for vintage cars and drag racing as well as collecting guns. His career was interrupte­d, the result of disabling injuries sustained in an accident.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparen­ts William and Sophia Papageorge and Randall and Marge Barron.

He is survived by his parents, his sister Staci Hudgens and her husband Nathan, two nephews, Luke and Clay Hudgens, his uncle Steven Barron and wife Karen, his aunt Janet Papageorge, cousins Randy and Jack Barron, Grandmothe­r Cathy Barron and his devoted and beloved service dog, Cali.

A visitation will be held Sunday, February 12, 2023, from 1-4 p.m., at the Nelson - Berna Funeral Home in Rogers. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, February 13, 2023, at the Central United Methodist Church in Rogers with a private family burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages memorials to the Circle of Life Hospice, 1201 NE Legacy Parkway, Bentonvill­e, Ark., 72712 or another charitable organizati­on of choice.
