BELLA VISTA — Carol Jean Turley,

age 89, of Bella Vista died Monday, February 6, 2023, at Northwest Medical Center located in Bentonville. She was born March 26, 1933, the daughter of Celia Ford and Lee Roy Garber.

She was in jewelry sales for many years beginning in 1972 and retired with White Jewelry downtown Rogers. She was an avid Razorback and KC Chiefs fan. She loved playing many games, including dice, cards, and board games, where she never showed any player any mercy.

Carol was a member of First Baptist Church of Springdale for many years, and later in life she attended Fellowship Bible Church of Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Wilbur Dee Turley in 1988, two sisters, and two brothers.

Carol is survived by: two sons; Wayne Turley and his wife Sallye, of Springdale, David Turley and his wife Cindy, of Rogers, one daughter; Teresa Palmer and her husband Steve, of Exeter, Mo., one brother; Jim Garber, of Miami, Okla., one sister; Betty Newman, of Bartlesville, Okla., one sister-in-law; Virginia Turley of Tucson, Ariz., four grandchildren; Colby Palmer, of Bella Vista, Caitlyn Palmer, of Cassville, Mo., Jordan Washburn and her husband Brian, of Los Angeles, Calif., Sara Turley, of Los Angeles, and five great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be on Friday, February 17, 2023, at the Fayetteville National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
