FAYETTEVILLE — William “Will” Harris,
2, of Fayetteville, Ark ., passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, at Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Ark., after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was born April 12, 2020, in Johnson, Ark., to Ross and Erica (Stutts) Harris.
William means “Mighty Warrior”. And Will was a mighty, brave little warrior, a warrior born on Easter Sunday at the beginning of the pandemic. His life was defined by hope.
Will was so playful, so affectionate. He loved running and singing and dancing; he loved playing balls and blowing bubbles; he loved his stuffed llama and all his blankets (“blankee!”) Pouches and “pizzie” (pizza) were his favorite foods. Around Arkansas Children’s Hospital he was known as “Go, Go” because when he was feeling good he would run through the halls inviting everyone to “Go, go!” His big brother, Wes, loved him fiercely.
Will’s family loved him dearly. He was the epitome of joy and we miss him, even as we know he is dancing with angels in heaven.
He is survived by his parents, one brother Wes Harris, maternal grandparents, Gregg and Robyn Stutts of Fayetteville, Ark., paternal grandparents, Dick and Barbara Harris of Little Rock, Ark., paternal great- grandmothers, Thelma Chrouch of North Little Rock, Ark., Charlene Harris of Ashdown, Ark., maternal great-grandparent, Vincent and Winona Tallo of Hammond, La.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, February 18th in the activities building at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville with Pastor Jonathan Beasley and Reverend Carness Vaughan officiating.
