of Rogers, Ark., left this earth to join her savior on December 14, 2022. She was born in Clovis, N.M., to John Dunlap and Dorothy Dean Carter Dunlap on the 23rd day of February, 1942.

She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved step- daddy, Ethler Fletcher Outhouse; sister, Sandra Marshall; and beloved aunt, Lola Mae Coffey.

She was educated in Portales, N.M., and ENMU. She was employed by E. Texas State University at Commerce, Texas. She subsequent­ly worked at Wetterau Inc. of St Louis, owned her own business in Fayettevil­le, Ark., and retired from Meeks Lumber Co. after 32 years of service in northwest Arkansas.

She is survived by her wife of nine years and partner of 44 years. They were married at the Church of Christ, Congregati­onal, in Ames, Iowa on September 21, 2013; her children, C. Rafe Essary (Michelle) of Stillwell, Okla., Jennifer K. Essary-Manríquez (Rodrigo) of Harper Woods, Mich., and M. Shay Davis (Larry) of Nixa, Mo.; eight grandsons, Bo Essary; Austin Price, Mateo, Milan, Danilo Manríquez; Marek Davis, Xyah Ra, Aman Rawlings; and four great-grandchild­ren; sisters, Rhonda Ferguson (Dan) of Odessa, Texas, DeAnne Whisenhurt (Danny) of Loveland, Colo., Tami Siefert (Rob) of Orlando, Fla., and Debbie Stanley (Mark) of Portland, Ore.; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Bland Chapel UMC, Beaver Lake on April 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Brian Youngs will officiate; in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to BCUMC at 8531 Twin Coves, Rogers, Ark. 72756.
