SPRINGDALE — Jerry Lee Baker,

age 84, died on Thursday, May 25, 2023 in Springdale, Ark. He was born on March 12, 1939 in St. Paul, Ark., to the late Frank and Mary (Davis) Baker.

He graduated from Springdale High School in 1957. Then, he graduated from the University of Arkansas June of 1961, with a BSBA. He later took a job with the Social Security Administra­tion in Fayettevil­le, Ark., and worked there for 33 years. He also drove a school bus for the Springdale School System for nine years. He was a member of the Church of Christ since he was 15 years old, and was an Elder at Pleasant Street Church of Christ in Springdale, Ark.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Carrie Mae (McFadden) Baker.

He is survived by his wife, Jane ( Allen) Carrell – Baker; daughter, Pamela and husband, Michael Roach, of Huntsville, Ark.; son, Thomas and wife, Carolyn Baker, of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Anna and husband, Brook Reinoehl, of Carbon, Ind.; brother, Ron and wife, Brenda Baker, of Springdale, Ark.; step-daughter, Christina Raley of Owasso, Okla.; step-son, Chris and wife, Teresa Carrell, of Weatherfor­d, Texas; step- daughter, Melissa and husband, Neil Nugent, of College Station, Texas; daughter in-law, Amanda Baker-Vaughan, of Dimmitt, Texas; grandsons, Justin and wife, Stephanie Roach; Jonathan and wife, Jessica Roach; and Jordan Roach; Christian Baker; Steven, Alex, Isaac and wife, Abigail, and Peyton Reinoehl; also, granddaugh­ters, Holli and husband, Adam Ramirez; and Emma Reinoehl; step-grandsons, Tyler Raley, and Conner Carrell; step-granddaugh­ters, Kayla and husband, Zach Riggs; Ashlee and Ellaina Carrell, and Macy and Brooke Nugent; great-grandchild­ren (in family order), Noah Roach; Ripley Roach and one on the way; and Blaire and Brooke Ramirez.

Visitation: 10 a. m. to 12 p.m., with the Funeral Service starting at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Pleasant Street Church of Christ in Springdale, Ark., with Minister Larry Branum and Minister Nathan Wilkerson officiatin­g. Speakers: Brook Reinoehl and Scott Gage, and other various speakers. Also, congregati­onal singing lead by Dean Corder. Burial to follow at Bluff Cemetery, Springdale, Ark.
