BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. — Jim D. Terry,

64, of Bay St. Louis, Miss., passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in Bay St. Louis, Miss.

Jim was a former resident of both Northwest and Central Arkansas. He was born July 29, 1958 in Springdale, Ark., to Bill F. and Betty Wyatt Terry.

He graduated from McClellan High (1976) in Little Rock. Jim worked for Tom’s Candies, War Eagle Marina, and Backyard Specialtie­s in the Springdale area, eventually moving to Mayflower, Ark., where he began his Sales career with AutoZone as a Commercial Delivery Driver. He experience­d great success in helping develop and institute this service in the Maumelle area and was eventually transferre­d to Bay St Louis to reinvigora­te their commercial delivery program. Jim enjoyed serving his clients and the general public with honesty, integrity and friendship.

He was a mentor and confidante to those struggling and in need, and was incredibly kind and compassion­ate to all. Jim loved Harleys, antique vehicles, and anything with a motor in it. His life was filled with adventures, great and small, with his cherished friends and true love and best friend, Lisa.

Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Wyatt Terry; and brother, Billy Gene Terry. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Fox Terry; father, Bill F. Terry and companion, Gloria Hall, of Rogers, Ark.; daughter, Monica Villines (Chris) and grandson, Aidan, of Lowell, Ark.; dog, LaFeet; and kittycat, Karma, of Bay St. Louis, Miss.

Celebratio­n of Life events will be announced at a later date.
