age 66 passed away Friday, May 26, 2023, in Fayettevil­le, Ark. She was born May 30, 1956 to Bill and Pauline Downum of Springdale.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparen­ts Louis and Ruth Downum, her maternal grandparen­ts Newell and Lois Davis, her father Bill Downum, her sister Carla Parson, her mother and father-in-law John and Fanchon Buss, and her sister-inlaw Sue Preston.

She is survived by her husband Richard Buss of their home in West Fork, Ark. They have been married 43 years as well as her mother Pauline Downum of Springdale, daughter Grandi Pennington of West Fork, and her son Joe Buss and Melanie of Fayettevil­le. She is known as Mimi to her five grandchild­ren: Kallie Pennington, Kaden Pennington, and Kole Pennington all of West Fork, and Chloe Buss and Jordan Buss of Fayettevil­le. She is the eldest sister to three brothers: Rick Jackson and his wife Shirley of Edmond, Okla., Tony Downum and his wife Pam of Evansville, Ark., Shannon Downum of Springdale, and one sister Tammy Israel and her husband Steve of Springdale. She is the sister-in-law of: Ann Schott and her husband Larry of West Fork, Kathy Corter of West Fork, and Linda Hagan of West Fork.

Robbie worked at EPC Elkhart in Fayettevil­le for over 36 years. She graduated from Springdale High School in 1974 and was a member of the National Honors Society. She also attended the University of Arkansas. Robbie loved her life on Sugar Mountain where she and Richard Built their home, farmed, and raised cattle.

She loved all things Razorback, especially Razorback football. She spent her free time watching her grandkids play sports.

Her family and grandkids were a huge part of her life. She was like a mother to all 22 nieces and nephews. Robbie’s selfless love for those around her will continue to shine. She gave others the gift of life through organ donation.

The family wishes to thank everyone for all their support and prayers.
