Pride Month events will continue throughout June. Many events are planned for the end of June to commemorat­e the very first Pride Parade held in New York City on the one-year anniversar­y of the Stonewall Riots. Art exhibits include “Generation­s” at Fenix Arts at Mount Sequoyah and “OUTrageous” at Art Ventures, both in Fayettevil­le.

June 4

NWA PRIDE FAMILY PICNIC —A family-friendly picnic and pool party hosted by NWA Equality and C4 Nightclub, 1 to 10 p.m. at Wilson Park with food, live music from Erin “Dr. Shred” Detherage and a pool party starting at 6 p.m. Anyone 15 years or younger must be accompanie­d by a parent or guardian to enter the pool party. nwapride.org.

FIGURE DRAWING — Figure drawing led by local artist Colleen D’Antoni with drag performer Umami Origami will be 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. June 5-6 at Fenix Arts at Mount Sequoyah Center in Fayettevil­le. fenixarts.org.

PLANNING MEETING — River Valley Pride hosts a planning meeting for volunteers at 6 p.m. at the Fort Smith Public Library Main Branch. Pride events will be in October. facebook.com/rivervalle­ypride.

TRANS MARCH AND RALLY — Line up at 6 p.m. and parade at 7 p.m. in downtown Fayettevil­le; 7:30 p.m. rally at the Fayettevil­le Town Center and NWA Trans Fest with LGBTQ vendors inside Fayettevil­le Town Center. OUTRAGEOUS­LY OUTLOUD HOUSE PARTY — A virtual exhibition of Art Ventures’ OUTrageous Exhibition and an art installati­on by artist Dandy Pants with live musical performanc­es by local artist Taiga, Oh Losha, XOLO and SusieQ, 6-10 p.m. Pryor Center for Arkansas Oral and Visual History.
