LOWELL — Charlotte Ann Harp,

82, of Lowell, Ark., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her daughters, Jackie and Timi. Charlotte was born in Springdale, Ark., to Nadine and Calvin Dorsett.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kimi Harp Blythe; and son, Jerry Harp.

Charlotte is survived by two daughters, Jackie Harp and Timi Ray and husband Frank Ray; five grandchild­ren, Kourtney Blythe, Frankie Ray and wife Kayla, Tiffani Ray, John G. Ray, Kate Williams and husband John; nine great grandchild­ren, Parker, Haley, Kim, Haiden, Hazel Jase, Emery, Nyla, and Olivia.

Charlotte graduated from Springdale High School in 1958. She went to Business School in Tulsa, Okla. After finishing school, she came back home and was a bookkeeper for Harps Food until 1965. Charlotte enjoyed horses and being a part of the Rodeo world. She was Ms. Rodeo of the Ozarks in 1957 and Ms. Rodeo Oklahoma in 1959. Charlotte was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and served on the board at Friendship Cemetery. She will be remembered for her love of all animals; Charlotte’s vet asked her what her secret was to her pets living such long lives. Her answer was, “I just love them, that’s all”

Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 29th, 2023, Westfield Chapel Funeral Home 3236 W. Huntsville Ave. Springdale, Ark. 72762, Interment: Friendship Cemetery. Pallbearer­s are Mike Harp, Phillip Harp, Randall Harp, Greg Harp, John Ray and Frankie Ray.
