Splish Splash
It’s HOT outside. Luckily, Northwest Arkansas has a lot of places to cool off this summer.
In addition to many lakes, creeks and streams, here are some of the public pools and splash pads in Northwest Arkansas. Check out one of these or contact the parks and recreation department in your community to find one near you and have some splashy fun this summer!
BENTONVILLE Bentonville Community Center Pool

Indoor pool, water slides, adventure river, large play structure with a dump bucket, spray features, three lap swim lanes and basketball hoops. Monday through Thursday: noon to 7 p.m.

Creekside Park Splash Pad

Melvin Ford Aquatic Center

50-meter competition pool ranges in depth from 3-8 feet. For younger children, there’s a 1-foot-deep wading pool that features a raindrop fountain deck. For the more adventurous, there is a 13-foot-deep diving well with two spring diving boards.
Monday through Thursday: open swim noon to 5 p.m., lap swim 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday & Saturday: open swim noon to 7 p.m., lap swim 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday: open and lap swim noon to 5 p.m.
Admission: $3 for adults (18+), $2 for children (3-17), kids under age 2 are free. Open through Sept. 2.
FAYETTEVILLE Walker Park Splash Pad

Wilson Park Pool

Located at one of Fayetteville’s most popular parks, Wilson Park Pool is surrounded by shade trees and hosts “dive-in” movies through the summer. Offers recreational swimming, instructional swimming lessons, fitness opportunities and family swim times. Concessions are available.
Open swim: Monday through Friday, 1-4:30 p.m; Saturday & Sunday, 1-6 p.m.
Family swim: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 6-8 p.m. Admission $8/family, only during family swim hours.
Regular admission: $4 for adults $4, $3 for children; Punch Pass (10 visits) for $35; season passes available.
Open through Sept 2.
GRAVETTE Gravette Pool and Splash Park

Large pool with a diving board and twisty slide, plus a big splash park with slides, waterspouts, splash buckets and water sprays. Monday through Saturday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday: 1-5 p.m. Admission: $3 for ages 5 and under, $5 for ages 6 and over from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday; half-price admission 5-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and all-day Sunday.
Pool and splash park will be open weekends-only from the weekend before school starts until Labor Day. Season passes available. Pool parties can be scheduled at City Hall.
PRAIRIE GROVE Prairie Grove Aquatic Park

ROGERS Rogers Aquatic Center

Three-acre water park featuring a leisure pool with two basketball goals, a lily pad walk, and large play structure with spraying water features; a six-lane competition pool with a diving board and basketball goal; and a 500-foot-long lazy river with therapy jets and a vortex pool, plus an island for sunbathing. Also, a plunge pool with a rock-climbing wall and two 35-foot-long slide towers; and a tot pool with a play structure, toddler slide and splash pool. Concessions available. Rogers Skate and Splash Park
