BELLA VISTA — The obedient, faithful, man of God, age 62, of Bella Vista, Ark., has been called to be with the Lord on Sunday July 23, 2023.

Bill is survived by his wife, Tina; his children, Daniel, Rachel, Justin, and Amelia; his grandchild­ren, Clayton, and Austyn.

Bill’s story is one of deliveranc­e, redemption, dedication, and service, a life displaying the transformi­ng power of God’s love. Through God, Bill overcame the chains of life’s struggle, found solace in his faith, and became a beacon of hope to his family and those around him.

“He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.” - Psalm 18:16

Bill gave his life to Christ in his mid-30’s. In the depths of his struggle, seeking deliveranc­e and redemption, God created a new life and purpose for Bill. Immediatel­y, Bill got involved with weekly bible studies, feeding the homeless, and shared his talent with the guitar to honor the Lord by joining the worship team at church.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” - 2 Corinthian­s 5:17

Embracing his faith, he experience­d a profound transforma­tion, he emerged as a new creation in Christ. Filled with hope, he dedicated himself to living a life of obedience and service. With his hands he worked, with his heart he loved, and with his spirit he served. In a selfless act of love and faithfulne­ss, Bill assumed the role of father to four children, and husband to his wife, Tina. He remained steadfast in those roles for the rest of his life.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” - Colossians 3:23

Bill, a dedicated man, faithfully served his family, and his church. His perseveran­ce and diligence served as a testimonia­l to his unwavering faith. Through his journey of redemption, Bill, a man of God exemplifie­d the transformi­ng power of God’s love and grace, embracing his role as a loving father and husband. May his story serve as an inspiratio­n to all of us, reminding us that through God’s love, anyone can find redemption, and with unwavering faith, we can overcome any obstacle in our path.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023, at 6 p.m. at the Bella Vista Baptist Church, 50 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. 72714. All are welcome to attend.
