State Senators, Representatives to Engage With Constituents
Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce Chair of the Board Jim Holland and Government Affairs Committee Chair Dr. Stewart Pratt announced today that Boone County’s elected state senators and representatives will provide a legislative update to the community at an October 19th Eggs & Issues Breakfast. The Thursday, October 19th event, presented by Casey Scribner State Farm Insurance, will be held at the Signature Bank Community Room ‘B’ and will begin with breakfast at 7:30am, concluding at 9:00am. State Senators Scott Flippo, District 23, and Bryan King, District 28, plan to attend and join State Representatives Ron McNair, District 5, and Harlan Breaux, District 6, to update their Boone County constituents on what occurred at the General Assembly’s special session last month. They are also expected to discuss what lies ahead for the rest of this year and next. Pratt said, “The Eggs & Issues Breakfast, the Committee’s public outreach program, provides an opportunity for community members to enjoy breakfast and network with one another, and most importantly, learn about issues that are important to them. We are pleased that Boone County’s state senators and representatives will again join us for this annual report on their work in the 94th General Assembly at the State Capital.” Chamber President/CEO Wilson Marseilles noted, “A huge thanks to Casey Scribner and his State Farm Insurance team for their sponsorship of this important community event.” Please register on-line at www.harrison-chamber.com or call the Chamber at 870-741-2659 to reserve your seat.
