Boone County Judge Robert Hathaway announced today an October 24th Municipality Resource Conference. Hosted by the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce, and presented by Entergy Arkansas, the conference is for all elected officials of Boone County and its eleven municipalities, along with their department heads. Hathaway said, “Local and state economic and business development organizations will engage about what services they provide, from grants to consulting, to planning, subjects that are geared to provide our community leaders with the resources they need to make Boone County a better place to live, work, shop, play, and retire.” Organizations presenting at the conference include the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and the Arkansas Broadband office. In addition to Entergy, along with the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District, businesses invited to participate and engage with elected officials are Windstream, Cox, Ritter, Black Hills Energy, and North Arkansas Telephone Company.
