of Rogers, Ark. passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023. She was born August 6th, 1941, to Cecil and Opal Cross.

She was married to James “Jim” Mank for 51 years.

Sue graduated from Central High School in Grand Junction, Colo., class of 1959. Sue enjoyed all the reunions and times with her high school friends.

Before retiring to Arkansas, she and Jim lived in Colorado. They were avid tennis enthusiast­s and members of the Grand Junction Tennis Club. She ran many tournament­s and hosted several events. She also enjoyed her career as a realtor. One of her greatest joys was being a part of the Garden Club of Rogers. Over the years, she held many positions at the local, district and state levels. The club members became her family.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her son Clinton Bliss, her stepson David Mank, her brother Cecil Cross and two half-brothers - Ronnie and Donny Cross and one half-sister Sonia Wehking.

She is survived by her husband Jim Mank, daughter Deborah Brill, stepson Steve Mank (Chris), stepson Jeff Wallace, seven grandchild­ren — Dustin, Blair, Katie, Cameron, Josh, Ben, Sara and six great-grandchild­ren, sister Jodi Benton (Doug), half-sister Jeannie Vodar, sisters in law Charleene Cross and Judi Voyles and many nieces and nephews.

The family is grateful to the staff at Circle of Life Hospice for their kind care of Sue.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributi­ons to Circle of Life or the Garden Club of Rogers.

Cremation services has already taken place. A celebratio­n of life will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct 13th, 2023, at Benton County Funeral Home located at 306 N 4th St, Rogers, Ark. A Southern covered dish dinner will be held immediatel­y after the service at 400 W Lilac, Rogers, Ark. 72756.
