Odessa Darrough has accepted the position as state president of AARP Arkansas. Darrough will serve as the executive council chairperson and represent the organization’s volunteers and members. Her volunteer tenure will run for two years and can be renewed twice.
Imogen Stegall has joined Harrington Miller Law Firm in Springdale as an associate attorney. Her areas of practice include civil litigation, family law, local government, real estate and wills and trust estates.
Susan Keller Kendall has joined Harrington Miller Law Firm in Springdale as a counsel attorney. Her areas of practice include employment law, civil and commercial litigation and local government.
Jen Wasem has been appointed as the chief development officer of The National Child Protection Task Force, a Fayetteville-based nonprofit. Wasem has over 16 years of nonprofit leadership experience, and her role will focus on community philanthropy.
Heather Dark has been appointed as the chief communications officer of The National Child Protection Task Force, a Fayetteville-based nonprofit.
Dark’s role will include overseeing the organization’s media relations and marketing.
Matt Kern, M.D., has started as an outpatient psychiatrist at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Psychiatric Research Institute, Northwest. Kern is an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry, and he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas and his doctorate from the UAMS College of Medicine.
Andrea McMahon, M.D., has started as an outpatient psychiatrist at the UAMS Psychiatric Research Institute, Northwest. McMahon is an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry, and she earned her doctorate from the UAMS College of Medicine.
