BENTONVILLE — Jimmy L. Crawford,

-

born September 12, 1944 in Electra, Texas, left his earthly home on October 20, 2023 following a brief illness.

Just as he stated, his proudest moments were those in which he was surrounded by his family – laughing and making memories. Jimmy’s greatest accomplishments were being a devoted and loving husband to Pat, as well as “Pop Pop” to his grandchildren. Although he never made it to the NFL, as was his childhood ambition, he would certainly tell you that he far exceeded that with each dedicated role he was afforded in the lives of his family and friends.

Although he will be painfully missed, we will sustain through the beautiful memories, as well as the life lessons he unknowingly taught us all about responsibility, love, the importance of family, the healing of laughter, and surely living each day to its fullest.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Leora Crawford, as well as his four brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Pat Crawford; son, Shane Crawford and Michelle; daughter, Kelly and Randy Roebuck; grandchildren, Hillary (Roebuck) Rose and Stephen, Alex Roebuck, Katie Roebuck, and Courtney and Jason Brooks; and great-granddaughter, McKenzie Brooks.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 29th at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, Ark. The family requests that everyone wear casual attire, and if you wish, come prepared to share a personal memory of Jimmy with the family beginning at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Circle of Life Hospice Home in honor of the outstanding husband, father, “Pop Pop”, and friend that Jimmy was to each of us. May his memory live on in our lives forever.

Online condolences can be made at www.rollinsfuneral.com.
