BENTONVILLE — Betty Treonne Hill,

-

age 86, passed away on Friday, December 1st, 2023, at the Bradford House in Bentonville, Ark. She was born Wednesday, September 22nd, 1937 in Mountainburg, Ark., to Charles and Lela Davis (Harris).

Betty was an exemplary mother and the heart of her family. She was the glue of her family. Her life revolved around her children and her household. Even when her children were grown, she worked in daycare facilities to be around children. She loved children her whole life.

She was a master at stretching the dollar and everything went to her children. Even though money was tight with her husband’s military income, the only income, she never considered being anything other than a housewife until much later in life after her sons were grown. She was devoted to her family.

The result of her dedication was four sons with strong morals, ethics, and character, who value family, memories, and honor above money and things. Betty and Jim led by example as all great leaders do. Their children were blessed to have the best of parents.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years; Jimmy Hill Sr., and her parents; Charles and Lela, one great-grandson; Dominick Viles, and numerous aunts and uncles.

Betty is survived by her four sons; Jimmy Don Jr., Mark, Monty, and Paul, nine grandsons, three great-grandsons, four great-granddaughters, and one great-great-granddaughter.

A graveside service will be held for her on Friday, December 8th, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Bentonville City Cemetery. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Jim. Arrangements by Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville. Condolences at www.eptingfuneralhome.com.
