GOP behavior is troubling

Now that the MAGA Republicans are trying to impeach President Biden, it becomes so clear that they care nothing about helping the people of this country.

They don’t care about passing bills that help America out. They are just wanting to score political points for the 2024 election. The biggest example of this, though, is not the vote on impeachment, but the voting against the aid to Ukraine. It is obvious to most people that Ukraine can hold their own against the megalomaniac dictator Putin, but they need the aid, the weapons to do it. A vote against aid for Ukraine is a vote for Putin and what is worse is, they know it. They continue to whine about government spending but would gladly support another tax cut for the wealthiest people and corporations in the country. What does that show about their concerns? Their concerns are all about themselves.

They are all about political ambitions of staying in power. Most supported the Jan. 6 attempt to overthrow the Capitol! The people of this country cannot support these selfish MAGA Republicans any longer. They need to be voted out of the office. Even some sane Republicans are already calling the impeachment process a sham. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., spoke out against the hypocrisy of Jim Jordan condemning Hunter Biden’s refusal to answer a congressional subpoena. Jordan did the same thing when the Jan. 6 commission subpoenaed him.

If you are tired of the antics going on in the capital, the MAGA Republicans taking the House hostage, do something about it. Write to our Arkansas representatives in the House and tell them not to support any of these political antics. They only have a narrow majority. Reasonable Republicans, together with Democrats could defeat their measures. But maybe our Republican representatives from Arkansas are also more concerned about their own political future to stand up against this unhinged faction. Maybe they think this should be the future of the Republican Party, since they all have only one hope of winning in 2024: the grand megalomaniac of them all, a criminal and a fraud that airbrush-tans his face and wears an orange toupee.
